Show Notes
What if there was a way to hit your monthly income goals with only a few days of work? Or a way for you to prequalify your retainer clients? Or what if you could help your course or program clients get their results even faster? Jordan Gill has cracked the code on VIP Days that work for her clients and for theirs. Today on the podcast she's sharing all of the details for offering VIP Days in your online business.
Episode Highlights:
Jordan started as an entrepreneur in 2016 with a journalistic background in content development and quickly pivoted to offering her systems and automations services in a VIP Day package.
Jordan found that offering VIP Days allowed her to better manage her energy, capacity, and chronic illness. As she began talking about this aspect of the offer, she began teaching others how to create VIP Days for themselves.
VIP Days
What they are
A 4-figure offering that last 3-8 hours a day which help your client through a process to achieve a result with a specific deliverable.
It is NOT an ask me anything or power hour with an open-end and no set goals.
They help you create tight, clear boundaries.
Who they’re for
Best suited for service providers, coaches, and consultants
Anyone looking for a way to take their current client process with a proven outcome and make it as refined, condensed, and efficient as possible.
The Three types
Backstage Day - not face-to-face during the VIP Day
Blended Day - on a call for the entire day learning alongside the expert
Bookend Day - on a call with the client either at the beginning, end, or both (most popular)
None of these are better than the other. Selecting the right kind of VIP Day for you depends on your energy, personality, and preferences.
Established VIP Day - used to qualify clients for longer-term relationships.
Elite VIP Day - only offered to people who are already pre-qualified and want an additional level of service or support.
You can also offer a VIP Week or VIP Weekend.
Atypical Examples
Relationship coach for polyamorous relationships offered a Bookend VIP Day with an outcome of ending the day with a roadmap for how to approach polyamory within their relationship.
Musician who uses sound and tones to help alleviate anxiety caused by PTSD by creating a custom-created song during a VIP Day
How you can get started
VIP Days are the most flexible business offer you can have.
It can be your entire business model or it can be a part of your services.
The boldest way to get started is to post on your Instagram stories right now and ask if anyone in your audience is interested in a VIP Day and go from there.
Look at the parts of your process that are messy, slow, broken, or chaotic and consider how quickly you could get something done if you removed those parts.
