Why did you start your online business?
I started my business because I knew two things: I no longer wanted to support big businesses that were doing wrong by their customers and I knew how to write.
So when I found myself suddenly out of a job with a newborn on my hip and an older child who has complex medical needs, it was time for me to made good with what I knew.
Years later, my scrappy freelance copywriting business is now a full-scale copywriting agency dedicated to writing ethical copy for online business owners around the globe through our Subscription copy service.
What is the biggest lesson you’ve learned about yourself?
Be willing to face the fear and do things differently.
People ask how they can stand out in a noisy world. The answer: Do something different. Say something different. Embrace that what makes you uniquely you.
How do you measure success in your business?
We measure success in client happiness. When our clients are well supported and are happy with their copy and experience, we're operating at our best.
What do you like to do in your free time?
I love reading novels, watching movies with my kiddos on Disney+, and enjoying hot, well-seasoned crawfish from January to June.
